A numbers person with itchy feet.

I grew up in rural Vietnam and left home at 11, which was the beginning of a long habit of going somewhere new and figuring things out from scratch. Since then I've lived in Vietnam, Germany, and Finland, and picked up two master's degrees along the way — an MSc in Business Administration at the University of Cologne, and an MSc in Analytics & Data Science at Aalto University, with a research period at the Technical University of Munich.

For the past 8+ years I've worked in data science, business intelligence, and commercial analytics — building prediction models, Power BI/Tableau dashboards 📊, and data-driven products for teams that needed to make big decisions with imperfect information. I've had the privilege of doing this at companies like Boehringer Ingelheim, Johnson & Johnson, and Nokia. I care about making the output actually useful, not just technically correct.

Outside of work I'm a globetrotter chasing new adventures ✈️, an avid reader 📚, and someone who will always choose the long way if the scenery is better 🏔️.
